Athens Exchange organized on June 20th the Conference "GR FOR GROWTH: funding SMEs", under the auspices of the EU Greek Presidency and the EU Task Force for Greece, in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and the support of the European Investment Bank Ιnsitute. 

The Conference focused mainly on the important initiatives undertaken at EU level in order to facilitate SMEs' access to funding as well as the instruments offered by the Athens Exchange (ATHEX) to provide solutions to the issue of SME funding, namely the development of listed funds, the promotion of the ATHEX Bond Market and of the Alternative Market on the ATHEX for SMEs.

The conference speakers were high officials from the Government, the EU Commission, the EIF and Greek and international intermediaries and institutional investors, while the conference was attended by more than 350 representatives from the local and international investment community.
