ANNOUNCEMENT

The company under the trade name "ELVALHALCOR HELLENIC COPPER AND ALUMINIUM INDUSTRY S.A." (hereinafter referred to as "ELVALHALCOR”) announces to investors, according to  article 17 par. 1 of Regulation (ΕU) 596/2014 of the European Parliament and the Council of 16th April 2014, articles 40, 41 par. 3, 42 and 77 of Law 4443/2016, and article 2, par. 4 of Decision No 3/347/12.7.2005 of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, that, following ELVALHALCOR's  Announcements of 04.01.2018 and 27.04.2018 respectively, and regarding the signing of an agreement between ELVALHALCOR and the foreign non-listed company with the trade name “Koramic Holding S.A.” for the acquisition by ELVALHALCOR, via a capital increase, of 50% of the share capital of the foreign non-listed company with the trade name “NEDZINK B.V.”, the second stage of the required approvals was completed with the issue of a clearance decision from the Competition Authority of Turkey, via its Competition Board, which ruled that the notified transaction does not result in creation or strengthening of a dominant position within the meaning of the Turkish Legislation on the Protection of Competition, and does not significantly impede competition.
