PARTICIPATION IN PHASE A (QUALIFICATION STAGE) OF THE TENDER PROCEDURE FOR THE ACQUISITION OF 100% OF THE SHARE CAPITAL OF THE MELITI AND/OR THE MEGALOPOLI DIVESTMENT BUSINESSES

The company under the trade name "ELVALHALCOR HELLENIC COPPER AND ALUMINIUM INDUSTRY S.A." (hereinafter referred to as "ELVALHALCOR”) announces to investors that, today, 21.06.2018, expressed interest for the participation of ELVALHALCOR S.A. in phase A (qualification stage) of the tender procedure for the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of the Meliti and/or the Megalopoli Divestment Businesses, in the context of the 31.05.2018 Invitation to submit an expression of interest which was published by the company “Public Power Corporation S.A.”.

It is noted that Phase A does not include the submission of binding offers and its purpose is the selection of Interested Parties that demonstrate the legal, financial and technical capacity required for the Divestment Businesses.
