NEW LARGE-SCALE SOLAR PLANT FOR METKA EGN

 

 

Athens, Greece ? 19 June 2018 ? MYTILINEOS is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, METKA EGN, has signed a contract with Talasol Solar S.L.U., a subsidiary of Ellomay Capital Ltd., to carry out a large scale solar power plant, with installed capacity of 300 MWp in the municipality of Talav?n, C?ceres, Spain (the "Talasol Project").

 

The signing of the agreement took place on 18.06.2018 at MYTILINEOS headquarters in Athens.

 

The scope includes the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the Talasol Project and the ancillary facilities for injecting power into the grid, including a 400 kV step-up substation, the high voltage interconnection line to the point of connection to the grid and performance of two years of operation and maintenance (O&M) services. The Contract value is just below 200 mil. euro.

 

The selection of METKA EGN for this project consolidates the company?s position as an international leader in providing competitive EPC solutions for the global solar industry.
