Submission of Expression of Interest by Ιnterested Parties for the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of the Meliti and /or the Megalopoli Divestment Businesses

Public Power Corporation S.A. (“PPC”) announces that the procedure for the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of the Meliti and /or the Megalopoli Divestment Businesses was completed on 21.6.2018.

In particular, a dossier of an Expression of Interest was timely, in accordance with the Invitation to submit an Expression of Interest of 31.05.2018, submitted by the following six (6) Interested Parties (in alphabetical order):

1. BEIJING GUOHUA POWER COMPANY LIMITED AND DAMCO ENERGY S.A. (CONSORTIUM)

2. ΓΕΚ ΤΕΡΝΑ Α.Ε.

3. ΕΛΒΑΛΧΑΛΚΟΡ ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΒΙΟΜΗΧΑΝΙΑ ΧΑΛΚΟΥ ΚΑΙ ΑΛΟΥΜΙΝΙΟΥ ΑΝΩΝΥΜΗ ΕΤΑΙΡΕΙΑ

4. ENERGETICKÝ Α PRŮMYSLOVÝ HOLDING, Α.S. (“EPH”)

5. INDOVERSE (CZECH) COAL INVESTMENTS LIMITED  

6. ΜΥΤΙΛΗΝΑΙΟΣ ΑΝΩΝΥΜΗ ΕΤΑΙΡΕΙΑ – ΟΜΙΛΟΣ ΕΠΙΧΕΙΡΗΣΕΩΝ

The advisors of PPC for the tender process shall review and evaluate the submitted Expressions of Interest and submit their concluding report to PPC concerning the Interested Parties, that meet the qualification criteria to the next phase of said tender process.

The final decision on the Qualified Interested parties shall be made by the Board of Directors of PPC.
