The Athens Stock Exchange welcomes the President of the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils
 

 

Today, March 6th, it was Ms. Deborah Wince-Smith, President and CEO of the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils (GFCC) and of the United States Council on Competitiveness who rang the traditional bell during the ceremony for the opening of the trading session of the Athens Stock Exchange, in the framework of her visit to Greece for the Federation's participation in the Delphi Economic Forum.

During her visit to the Stock Exchange, Ms. Deborah Wince-Smith met with the Mr. Sokratis Lazaridis, CEO of the Athens Exchange Group and Mr. Simos Anastasopoulos, President of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, to discuss about how the GFCC network and the GFCC Academy can best be utilised to support start-up enterprises in Greece.    

The GFCC has a membership that spans over 35 countries, and together with its members is promoting competitiveness-enhancing strategies that will pave the way for innovation, productivity and, ultimately, an increase of prosperity.

In her statements, Ms. Deborah Wince-Smith noted that the objective of the cooperation between the GFCC and the Athens Stock Exchange and AMCHAM is to reinforce the extroversion of Greek companies through the recognition and promotion of innovation in Greece.
