Index Description
The FTSE Med 100 index started on June 9, 2003 with 5,000 points as its basis and it was designed by Athens Exchange in cooperation with FTSE International Limited. The main goal of the index is to represent, on an end of day basis, the performance of the one hundred (100) most liquid companies in the eastern Mediterranean region's markets that are quoted on the Stock Exchanges of Cyprus, Greece and Israel.
